A mutex keeps Guild Expedition auto-battle and the GB scanner from running over each other.

How it works

Open the Defiant panel next to your city and switch to the sniping tab.
Choose which sources to scan — hood, friends, guild, or all three.
Set your minimum profit threshold so only worthwhile positions are listed.
Run the scan and review the returned targets with their positions and returns.
Take the spots you want manually, or hand the vetted list to Auto Snipe.

Questions

Does the sniper take spots automatically?

Only if you turn on Auto Snipe. By default the scan produces a list for you to review, so nothing spends forge points without your say-so.

Can it scan guild members as well as my hood?

Yes. Hood, friends, and guild are all valid sources and can be scanned together in one pass.

What does the minimum profit filter do?

It hides any position whose return falls below the number you set, so a long result list collapses to just the spots worth your forge points.

Is GB sniping against the Forge of Empires rules?

Sniping itself is ordinary gameplay — players do it manually all the time. Automating it with any third-party tool, Defiant included, is against the InnoGames terms of service. See our FAQ for the full picture before you decide.
