What Defiant Sends
A plain summary of what stays on your machine and what goes to our server.
What stays in your browser
Your settings, logs, history and most of what the bot works out while it plays are kept in your own browser.
What Defiant sends to our server
Defiant uses our server to keep your install registered, deliver the bot and its updates, and turn features on or off. It also sends error reports when something goes wrong, so we can fix it, and a few shared results that make features better for everyone (for example finished negotiations and Great Building snipes). Some of this includes your player name, player ID, guild name and world. Like any website, our server also sees your IP address.
What is shared anonymously
Arena fight results and some game data the bot learns, such as building layouts and shop prices, are shared without your name or player ID.
What is never sent
Your game password and payment details. Defiant runs inside a game you are already logged into; it never sees your password.
Why we collect it
To keep the bot working and up to date, to find and fix errors, to protect it from tampered copies, and to answer support questions. We do not sell it or share it with anyone.
